Our on-site production
India is now one of the world’s largest automotive markets and is also the fastest-growing. Whilst around 3.4 million vehicles were produced in 2019, this figure rose to around five million by 2024 and is set to grow to around ten million vehicles by 2030. Through our local commitment, we are specifically strengthening our presence in one of the most important future markets for global mobility.
The new site will house a modern facility for the manufacture of forged components, including downstream machining. Production is based on semi-automatic press lines and ring rolling mills, and is specifically designed for the cost-effective manufacture of complex forged parts. The aim is to achieve efficient, cost-optimised production whilst maintaining high quality standards.
